The EDC waist high turnstiles are perfect for high volume counting applications. This turnstile has a super smooth hydraulically dampened arm rotation and can accommodate an 18.5 inch or 25 inch (extended arm option) widths.

These turnstiles may be used with power (counting is done with small LED’s) or without (counting is done with mechanical micro switches).

Counts are outputted to a local digital counter and/or to GateWatch™ facility counting software.

EDC turnstiles are easy to install and integrate with any access/identification system. No external bolts or fasteners are used in the fabrication or anchoring process, and the unique bullet style head and arms provide an extremely comfortable patron passage width. Other features include hydraulically dampened arm rotation with automatic arm self centering, plus investment grade stainless steel internal castings and hardened stainless steel locking components.

The EDC is available with manual (EDC) or electric (EDCX) operation. A rugged industrial grade controller, optical rotation detection, interface relays, and time out functionality are all standard on electrically controlled models.

Special configurations include the EDC Extended (longer arms/extended cabinet). Cabinets are available in stainless steel polished to a #4 satin finish, or color powder coat.
